Two days, countless conversations, ideas exchanged between sessions, and one shared feeling across the consortium: HumAIne is entering a defining stage. On February 11-12, Inneürope took part in the VI General Assembly of the European project HumAIne, held in Caparica, near Lisbon, where our Portuguese partners warmly hosted us for a key moment in the project’s journey.

This was more than a regular project meeting. It was a chance to step back and look at the bigger picture. After months of development, validation, and collaboration, the consortium came together around a common goal: turning progress into measurable, sustainable, and meaningful impact that can last beyond the project itself.

That ambition is at the heart of HumAIne. Funded by Horizon Europe, the project is working to improve collaboration between humans and artificial intelligence in complex decision-making environments. The goal is not only to build advanced AI systems, but to make sure those systems are trustworthy, understandable, and genuinely human-centered.

This is exactly where Inneürope plays a particularly meaningful role. Within the project, we lead both the Learning Centre and related training activities, as well as the stakeholder and ecosystem building activities, two areas that naturally reinforce each other. On one side, we help transform project knowledge into practical, accessible training resources for both technical and non-technical audiences. On the other, we support the growth of a broader ecosystem around the project by fostering connections, engagement, and collaboration among relevant stakeholders.

During the General Assembly, we were pleased to share progress in both areas. The training resources continue to take shape through dedicated learning paths designed to support reskilling and upskilling, while ecosystem-building efforts continue to strengthen the network of actors interested in trustworthy, human-centered AI. Together, these activities reflect Inneürope’s wider mission: helping people engage with innovation while creating the conditions for that knowledge to generate real-world impact.

HumAIne is now moving into its final phase, and at Inneürope we are proud to contribute not only to its technological outcomes, but also to the learning, collaboration, and community that will help extend its impact far beyond the project’s lifetime.
