On January 17, 2025, INNEUROPE, a key partner in the ECLIPSE project, participated in a pivotal virtual meeting to present the progress of Work Package 7 (WP7), focusing on the exploitation of project results. This presentation emphasized our dedication to innovation, advanced digital solutions, and enhancing energy efficiency across Europe.
Product and Innovation for Sustainability
The ECLIPSE project aims to implement and demonstrate the Common European Reference Framework (CERF) for energy consumption applications across 16 EU countries, with the potential for replication throughout the region. These solutions empower consumers to adopt sustainable habits through recommendations, strategies, and incentive systems. This not only reduces energy consumption but also strengthens grid stability through consumer flexibility.
During our presentation, we highlighted how WP7 focuses on the effective exploitation of these groundbreaking technologies to ensure their benefits are accessible via innovative products that promote:
- Energy efficiency: Tools that monitor energy usage to optimize consumption.
- Simplicity and accessibility: Intuitive applications that help users make informed decisions.
- Sustainability: Reducing CO2 emissions through responsible consumption practices.
Energy Efficiency Beyond Savings
The solutions developed within the ECLIPSE project aim to not only lower energy costs but also transform Europe’s energy system into a more resilient and flexible model. Innovations include:
- Smart EV charging.
- Optimization of self-consumption.
- Load shifting to off-peak hours.
