Learn from Experienced Entrepreneurs in Another Country

Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a European business exchange program that gives aspiring entrepreneurs and newly established business owners the opportunity to learn from experienced entrepreneurs who run small businesses in other participating countries.

The program allows participants to spend between one and six months working directly with a host entrepreneur. During this time, participants gain firsthand insight into how a business is managed, how decisions are made, how customer relationships are handled, and how ideas are developed in a real business environment.

In addition, Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs has a well-established track record. For the past 17 years, the program has supported entrepreneurship across Europe and has already facilitated more than 15,000 business exchanges in over 45 countries.

This is not a traditional university Erasmus program or a standard internship. It is a hands-on entrepreneurial experience designed to help participants learn from someone who has already gone through the process of building and managing a business.

What Can the Program Bring to Your Project?

Participating in the program can help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence on your entrepreneurial journey.

Key benefits include:

  • Validating and refining your business idea through an external and international perspective.
  • Learning in a real business environment alongside an experienced entrepreneur.
  • Expanding your professional network across different markets and entrepreneurial ecosystems.
  • Developing practical skills in areas such as sales, strategy, customer management, and operations.
  • Returning with stronger insights to launch, adapt, or grow your business project.

The program also provides a monthly financial contribution to help cover exchange-related expenses, with amounts varying depending on the destination country.

Who Are These Sessions For?

These sessions are designed for people who are at the early stages of their entrepreneurial journey: those with a business idea, those considering starting a company, or those who have recently launched a business and want to strengthen their project.

They are also valuable for individuals who have questions about how to shape their business model, validate their value proposition, access new markets, or gain international business experience before launching or scaling their venture.

You do not need to have a fully developed company to attend. If you have a business idea, the motivation to become an entrepreneur, and want to understand how the program can help you gain international experience while advancing your project, these sessions are an excellent starting point.
