The 2025 edition of 4YFN and Mobile World Congress has been a key meeting point for impact-driven innovation and technology. At Inneürope International Innovation Hub, we joined this global event with a packed agenda of collaborations, disruptive trends, and a key launch: AI4CLIMATE, the first global #Tech4Good innovation program aimed at fighting natural disasters and accelerating urban recovery. This groundbreaking initiative has been launched by Inneürope in collaboration with Valencia Innovation Capital (Valencia City Council).
It was a double launch since we had the great opportunity to present AI4CLIMATE at both 4YFN and MWC25.
AI4CLIMATE at 4YFN
From the 4YFN stage, we introduced AI4CLIMATE alongside Valencia Innovation Capital. Accompanied by key experts in innovation and urban development, and supported by Valencia’s vibrant startup and innovation ecosystem, Larissa de Moura (Head of Innovation at Inneürope) and Gema Roig Pallardó (Las Naves Centre d’Innovació) explained how this unique initiative connects startups, tech experts, governments, corporations, hubs, and accelerators to transform climate, social, and economic challenges faced by cities after natural disasters into real solutions.
A clear example of the urgency of these actions is the impact of the recent DANA (Isolated Depression at High Levels), which highlighted the need for innovative urban resilience strategies.
“Impact-driven innovation is not just an option—it’s a responsibility. With AI4CLIMATE, we are creating a global ecosystem where technology and collaboration come together to tackle the climate and urban challenges our cities are facing.”— Larissa de Moura, Head of Innovation at Inneürope

The launch also featured contributions from David Rosa, General Director of Valencia Innovation Capital, and Paula Llobet Vilarrasa, Councilor for Innovation at Valencia City Council. They emphasized the importance of innovation in building more resilient cities.
As strategic partners, Valencia Innovation Capital announced its role as a Climate City Lab within AI4CLIMATE, establishing itself as a key space for experimenting with and implementing innovative solutions. They also revealed that they will soon launch strategic challenges in critical areas such as circular economy, smart mobility and infrastructure, natural and public space recovery, and economic impact.
AI4CLIMATE at Mobile World Congress 2025
AI4CLIMATE’s impact extended beyond 4YFN to the Tech4Good Innovation Stage at MWC25. Our founder, Fran Estevan, presented the initiative alongside major companies and international organizations.
“What truly inspires us is seeing how this initiative can open new pathways for collaboration and positive global impact. It’s not just about innovation—it’s about building bridges and sharing experiences to respond more effectively to future challenges.”— Fran Estevan, Founder of Inneürope

It was an inspiring session where we had the opportunity to connect with numerous startups, governments, and international organizations interested in joining AI4CLIMATE, establishing strategic partnerships that will strengthen the global climate innovation and urban resilience ecosystem.
More Than an Event—A Commitment to the Future
Our presence at 4YFN and MWC25 was not just a platform to present AI4CLIMATE—it marked a turning point in our mission to drive impact-driven innovation. Through this initiative, we continue to build a global ecosystem where technology, collaboration, and sustainability come together to tackle the most urgent climate challenges.
